"Vape Naked" was derived from the term "Naked Vaping", which was coined with early Vapers to mean "Pure" E-juice, made from nothing but the finest ingredients and free from chemicals. Much of the early E-Juice that was available was coming from foreign countries (where QC was slim-if any at all) and Vapers were finding all kinds of unwanted chemicals and substances in their mix. This was a crude joke, since many Vapers were getting off of cigarettes to get away from all the toxins.
Soon, "Naked Vaping" was adopted to mean "Vaping" without nicotine (which seems to be nearly everyone's goal) and common flavors were being tested for their flavor and purity with zero nicotine. The products that held up to these tests became everyone's preferred choices. Soon the Vaping landscape was being populated with much better products, along with a higher educated Vaping community. Hence the term "Vaping Naked" has come to mean "The Best". If the E-juice you are Vaping can hold it's taste at 0 nicotine content, you're in great shape!
Of course, there are others that have taken the term "Vape Naked" to mean something entirely different, but we won't get into that here!
Our E-Juice is available in different strength levels of nicotine ranging from zero nicotine up to levels as high as approximately 1.2% nicotine. The nicotine level is expressed in milligrams per milliliter but can be converted to an approximate percentage by placing a decimal between the digits. 12mg strength would be roughly 1.2% nicotine.
The MOST asked question from beginners is: "What strenth nicotine do I need"?
The strength of nicotine you will use varies widely. Some people say a pack a day smoker does not need any more than 0.6% (6) nicotine in their E-Juice with today's sub-ohm devices (I happen to share this belief) but probably just as many would say they need higher strength. You should do your own follow up research on E-Juices if you plan to be Vaping over the long term. There are many different options in the types and brands of E-Juice you can acquire. The more research you do over time, the less money you will spend. With that being said, our recommendation is that new users buy a bottle of 3mg - 6mg and a bottle of zero nicotine of the same flavor. This way, if you decide 3mg or 6mg is too much, you can dilute it down to whatever suits you.
The second MOST asked question from new vapers is: "Does it taste like a real (traditional tobacco) cigarette"?
The E-Juice that tastes most like a real cigarette is... well-there is none. No liquid tastes like a real cigarette because there is no combustion. Imagine if you will, what tobacco would taste like if you made it into a soft drink. It is not a pleasant thought for most people. Instead, look over the flavors and choose a flavor you normally find pleasant. Keeping in mind that different flavors will taste different from different suppliers and different nicotine levels will greatly alter the final taste. You will likely find that while you may not like specific flavor from one company, you may like that flavor from another. We suggest you try the smallest bottles possible of different E-Juice until you find something you like; THEN go for the larger quantities.
Third most asked question: "Is there a special way to store this liquid"?
Yes! ALL your E-Juices should be stored in a cool, dry place that is NOT exposed to direct sunlight. Many suppliers use clear plastic bottles to sell their product. It is not a bad idea to keep whatever you are not actively using stored in a closed box that eliminates any light exposure. I actually store my supply in the refrigerator. If you do this, make sure you SHAKE it very well BEFORE you try to use in your tank. When cold, E-Juice tends to get quite thick! Many E-Juices are assumed to expire 2 years after date of delivery. Be sure to keep ALL E-Juice out of reach of children and pets.
Fourth question: What is “Dripping” and “Dipping”? "
Drippers" are straight open Atomizers that are used for "Dripping". With a dripper, you do not have to use cartridges or tanks like you do with most personal vaporizers. In most cases, you can wet the coil with E-Juice and vape away! The coil of the dripper is recessed inside it’s housing, so you can drip 2 to 4 drops of liquid directly onto the coil and a little is held in reserve in the bottom. This usually allows for 3-5 hits, then you just add 2 to 4 drops again. Using a drip style atomizer produces one of the cleanest, purest hits you can get from a Vaporizer at this time. Using an Atomizer usually produces the best equivalent to a cigarette puff. Usually people who use drippers still use a cartridge or tank type setup most of the time. Atomizers (drippers) are hard to use during work or activities because it's just a pain to keep stopping and "Dripping" you E-Juice. Many Vapers alternate between the two.
Fifth question: "Can I use any battery for an atomizer"?
This depends on your individual threaded on your battery. Make sure you check your threads before ordering ANY supplemental tanks, atomizers or accessories. 510 threads are becoming somewhat of the norm although you really need to check your own device.
Rebuildable atomizer coils and wicks have known risks. Rebuildables are for experts, not average or beginner vapers with no multimeter or knowledge of how to use a meter, or when a meter must be used, or how electronic devices work. These materials cannot safely be used by the inexperienced or those without basic knowledge of electronics. This is because: 1. A rebuildable coil/wick MUST be tested carefully with a meter before it is used. 2. If it is not tested it is entirely the risk of the user. 3. Faulty wicks/coils WILL blow electronic devices. 4. New coil/wick units must be tested and then used first on a strong basic electrical APV that has short circuit protection. 5. No new coil/wick assembly should be used on an electronic device until known to be safe. 6. These items destroy electronic devices if faulty. This is a known issue.
